Within the sheltered confines of the historic 14th-century Franciscan monastery, where Fr. Andrija Kašiš Miošiš and Ivan Despot once served, near the parish church with its daily Mass, in close proximity to the sea and the beautiful beach that stretches along the entire length of the village, and amidst the charm of the monastery's botanical garden, we invite you to immerse yourself in the peace and tranquility of this wonderful, soul- and body-loving environment, either as an individual traveler or in an organized group. Throughout the year, the monastery and its surroundings offer rejuvenation for body and mind.
The rooms in the monastery are quite basic.
The rooms offer views of the sea and the monastery garden, or of the magnificent cloister with its fountain where oranges and flowers grow. During the summer months, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the enchanting ambiance of the cloister. On colder days and in winter, meals are served in the dining room. Our menu is inspired by traditional Dalmatian cuisine, featuring seasonal vegetables and fruits from the monastery garden, as well as olive oil from our olive grove.
Breakfast: from 7:30 am to 9:30 am (breakfast buffet) Lunch: at 1 p.m. Dinner: at 8:00 pm |
